Lunenburg Pilates

The place bodies come to feel better!

Here we use exercise as a therapeutic tool to improve our ability to live life fully.

The Pilates equipment we use in the studio support the body to move with ease, fluidity and control. So you can let go of your aching back, sore hip or cranky shoulder.

Private one to one sessions deal with your body and tailor the exercises to rebalancing the body, the breath and the mind. So all three can work together to create a higher level of function.

You’ll be introduced to “The Reformer”, “The Cadillac” , “The Chair” and “The Springboard”. All safe and supportive spring loaded resistance training devices.

You’ll learn to:

→ use your breath for better core engagement,

→ engage your abdominals for spinal support,

→ learn to lengthen to strengthen your spine

→ connect your arms to your rib cage so you can safely strengthen your upper body.

Heather Dennis has been practicing Pilates for over twenty years and has studied how to use it as a therapeutic modality to help clients recover from injury, manage chronic pain, improve breathing related disorders or improve athletic performance.
