Zoom and my online studio portal allow us to get together and form a holy alliance between your body and my mind. You get to work with me in the comfort of your own home.

The goal of our online work is for you to know love and trust your body. It’s the only one you’ve got.

Unfortunately, our current culture would like you to believe differently. Aches and pains, loss of balance, weight gain and welcome to the fraternity of frailty. There are huge industries making a pot of money from their small opinion of your capabilities.

It doesn’t have to be that way.

I  guide menopausal women to take control of their bodies through a unique and effective process called The Heather Dennis Method.

Together we identify the parts of your body that aren’t moving as optimally as they could, design an exercise program that resolves and manages these issues so you can start feeling your best again. And get back to what is important in life…living.

The exercises I teach are a potent tool to reclaim your sovereignty over your body. They can be in person at my seaside studio. Or they can be online.

We meet for an hour, I assess your body, identify your blindspots create a short exercise sequence. Most importantly I teach you how to do the exercises. The session is recorded and you have it..forever.

You’d be surprised what we can accomplish together.

How?

By doing skill-based movements that help to get the brain and the body working together in harmony.

But?

“ I do a yoga class, or Pilates class or lift weights?”

Sure, all wonderful recreational activities. I do all of them myself. There is nothing better than being in a room full of yogis breathing, moving and chanting together. Or rocking a reformer class or playing Pickleball.

This is different. Think of it as Movement Therapy.

We work with your body and your imbalances. In a way that helps you get to know, love and trust yourself.

Why?

I had a lot of aches and pain. I ran from thing to thing trying to get it to go away. Massage, osteopathy, physical therapy. Sometimes all the above modalities created brief relief. It didn’t last long.  What needed to change were my movement habits.

Without changing the software of how we move, we will only get symptomatic relief. And we’ll think that we need to “get out of pain” before we can do any of the things we love to do.

I know it doesn’t need to be that way!

Through small steps, you can get out of that way of thinking and feeling too.

Let me help and show you how to gain control of your body so that you can come home to yourself. And fall in love with your life!
